Is dark ruby and takes on a bit more oak spice presence, with toasted cedar, baking spice, and lush black cherry fruit. Full-bodied, with ripe fruit, a dark mineral tone, and a meaty texture, it retains ample tannic structure.

Gripping and serious in character, it can stand up to grilled meats. The palate is medium-bodied with ripe succulent red berry fruit, fine tannin and a crisp, slightly tarry finish.
